What Does it Mean to be White?

This is research for a Graduate level Multicultural Counseling class. I asked this question a few hours ago and received good responses. I am just trying to gather as many opinions as I can.

If you answer, please tell me your ethnicity. Thanks!

It means you have less pigmentation. In the US, it means you will be blamed for everyone else's problems but that's OK, I can take it. In Africa where I worked for a few years it means some think you are really smart just because of your skin color, and some despise you. I'm white. If I could have chosen my color I probably would have chosen white, but am fascinated with being a Mexican, wearing a big sombrero and playing Mexican music on a guitar. If I had been born black I would be a jazz musician, probably a drummer, since I did that for a few years but might have had better rhythm if I were black.
